What is the TFYP Core Team?
The TFYP Core Team is the group of TFYP Members that does all the planning and fundraising for our events.
What is the age group?
Ages 21-40ish
What is expected of me as a Core Team member?
Once you have completed this form and attended your first meeting, core team members are expected to sign our participant agreement. This agreement states that as a Core Team member, you will attend at least 50% of our monthly meetings, assist with planning at least one event a year, and maintain an active TFYP membership
What’s the difference between TreeFolks Young Professionals and TreeFolks?Our parent organization, TreeFolks, is a non-profit that focuses on Community Building, Reforestation, Education, and Growing the Urban Forest. TreeFolks Young Professionals is a group of volunteers who want to help!
What kind of impact does TFYP have?
Each year, we raise $10k and plant +1,000 trees. We also do volunteer activities like invasive species removals and trail cleanups. We’re a vibrant community of people who enjoy supporting nature and nature education.
How can I get involved?
You came to the right place! This form will guide you through our New Member experience. Each month, we have a planning meeting and community event. Community events can be hiking, trail cleanups, tree plantings, happy hours and more! The first step in joining TFYP is to attend one of our planning meetings or community events.
